The West and the East trilogy.
The west and the east start with introductory haiku's, though slightly off I must admit, but then a full length poem.
The West
To the west there is
they, who's soul fits thine own
but a grief too great.
The East
At my east I find
The less of preference mine
but a peace for me.
The Compass
Though the west
holds the best,
at the east
I find peace.
Against the west
it'd be the less
had not for my grief
say I jump to relief.
so I find I must stress
that there isn't much left
for my naive belief:
the west holds reprieve.
